Insights & Data
Every brand page has a full set of analysis widgets below the headline stats. This is where you turn raw visibility data into actionable recommendations.
AI Insights
Weekly AI-generated strategic insights for this brand, refreshed every Monday. Each insight references specific data points — visibility gaps, competitor comparisons, content opportunities — and is labelled by urgency:
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Urgent | Requires attention now |
| Needs attention | Worth addressing soon |
| Going well | Positive signal worth noting |
| Note | Informational |
Typical insight categories include provider gaps (one AI model cites the brand much more or less than others), competitor comparisons, GSC trend divergences, recurring gap reasons, and positive momentum signals.
The system only generates insights when the data supports something specific — two targeted, data-grounded insights are more valuable than five vague ones.
GEO Gaps
Shows queries where the brand was not cited, along with AI-generated explanations of why. This is the most actionable output in the platform for content strategy: it tells you exactly what's missing and why the brand isn't showing up.
AI Provider Comparison
Side-by-side view of how the brand's visibility compares across multiple search-grounded providers (currently ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity). Use this to identify which platforms are underperforming and where to focus content efforts.
Citation Sources
Shows which third-party websites AI models reference when answering the brand's tracked queries — industry publications, review platforms, directories, and media outlets that AI treats as trusted voices in this niche.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Domain | The cited source |
| Citations | Total citations across all queries and providers |
| Keywords | Number of distinct tracked keywords where this source appeared |
| LLMs | How many AI providers cited this source (e.g. 2 / 3) |
| Avg Position | Average position in the AI response (lower = better) |
| Opportunity | Composite score: High, Medium, or Low |
The Opportunity badge highlights the sites most worth targeting. Getting the brand featured on a High-opportunity site — through press coverage, guest posts, or directory listings — is one of the most direct ways to improve AI visibility.
Use the period filter (30 days / 90 days / All time) and the Opportunity filter to focus the list.
Competitors
Ranked competitor list with tier labels, citation counts, and last-seen date.
| Tier | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Major | National or international brand with broad market presence |
| Peer | Local or niche competitor in the same space |
The Competitor Map (for local brands) shows the brand and competitors as geocoded pins on an interactive map. Click Resolve locations to geocode any unresolved entries.
LLMs occasionally invent plausible-sounding domains. Any LLM-discovered competitor must pass a DNS + HTTP existence check before it appears in this list — domains that don't resolve or don't answer are dropped automatically.
Website Hygiene
Answers a different question from "are you cited?" — can AI platforms find and read your site at all? This page audits the technical preconditions that gate AI-platform discoverability.
The audit splits checks into two tiers:
- Critical — failing any of these directly hides the brand from AI answers. Checks include: live-retrieval crawlers allowed in robots.txt; no silent edge block on those same user-agents (Cloudflare or WAF returning 403/429/503 even when robots.txt allows them); HTTPS reachable on the homepage; sitemap reachable; homepage renders meaningful content without JavaScript (with cloak detection — sites that SSR for AI bots while shipping a SPA to humans still pass).
- Important — diagnostic hygiene that improves citation quality once critical is in place. Checks include: llms.txt at the host root; Organization or WebSite JSON-LD on the homepage; canonical URL declared; Open Graph title and image; HSTS header; meaningful
<noscript>fallback on detected SPAs.
The page also shows a crawler matrix with this brand and each tracked competitor as columns, so you can spot where a competitor is allowing a retrieval bot you've blocked — useful for explaining "why does ChatGPT cite them but not us?"
A separate training-corpus row group surfaces blocking decisions for crawlers that feed model pre-training. These are shown for transparency only — blocking training crawlers is a legitimate editorial choice, not a hygiene flaw, and never moves the AI-ready badge.
Snapshots are taken weekly per subject.
Content Suggestions
Briefs anchored to citation gaps: queries where AI answered without citing this brand, but cited specific competitors and authority sources. Each brief names the cited domains, the gap reason, and the structural element to include (FAQ schema, comparison table, etc.). Generated weekly from the last 30 days of citation data — brands without recent citation activity will not see suggestions until tracking data exists.
Trends & News
A curated news feed showing business-relevant developments for this brand — filtered to what actually matters, not generic industry noise.
Each article is scored for relevance (how closely it matches the brand's context) and business impact (how commercially significant it is). Actionable items appear at the top.
Filtering: Use the period, language, and keyword filters to narrow the feed. Toggle Show noise to include or exclude low-value items.
Giving feedback: Your actions in the feed shape future results:
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Track keyword | Signals this topic is relevant — more like it in future |
| Create content brief | Positive signal |
| Not relevant | Marks as noise and suppresses similar content going forward |
The AI insight card at the top of the Trends page synthesises recent articles into a market summary with headline, market state, competitor pressure, opportunity window, and a recommended action.
Search Console & AI Overviews
Shows the brand's Google Search Console query data alongside AI Overview Signals — queries where organic click-through is unusually low despite strong impressions. These are the highest-priority queries for GEO optimisation, as an AI-generated answer is likely capturing the demand instead.
