Terms of Service

Scope

These Terms govern your access to and use of Achtung.app. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Services

Achtung.app provides GEO monitoring features, including AI visibility scoring, citation and competitor tracking, alerts, dashboards, reports, and optional free scan workflows. Features may change as the product evolves.

Service Communications

By requesting a free scan or using the service, you agree to receive operational emails required to deliver the service, including scan confirmation links, result links, and service-related follow-ups. These messages are necessary for product operation and are not optional marketing newsletters.

Accounts and Access

You are responsible for account credentials, account activity, and the accuracy of data submitted by you or your users. You must ensure that use of client or third-party data is authorized.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the service for unlawful activity, abuse of third-party systems, automated misuse, security testing without permission, or attempts to reverse engineer or disrupt the platform.

Reports and Outputs

Scores, classifications, recommendations, and reports are informational outputs based on available model and query data. They are not guarantees of ranking, visibility, traffic, or commercial outcomes.

Third-Party Integrations

If you connect third-party services (for example Google Search Console), you authorize us to process related data needed to provide the feature. Your use of third-party services remains subject to their terms.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are offered as monthly or annual subscriptions, processed by Stripe, Inc. as our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. No pro-rata refunds are issued for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days advance notice; continued use after the new pricing takes effect constitutes acceptance.

Fees and Billing

All prices are stated in euros and exclude applicable VAT. VAT is added where required by law based on your location. Invoices are issued automatically by Stripe.

Suspension

We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, unpaid fees, or material breach of these Terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Achtung.app is provided "as is" and "as available". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use or unavailability.

Term and Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate access for material breaches, repeated abuse, or legal reasons. Data handling after termination follows our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Berlin, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, operational, or product changes. Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
